With research and patience we can create some sweet mods for the Dreamcast! This is exciting new indeed!! ( please excuse the voice work, the modder did all the voices himself, including that of Rebecca Chambers) You could get this out on the Sega Dreamcast! With this knowledge however, we have some great possibilities ahead of us! We can simply use tools that mod the PC version of RE2 and plug the files into the Dreamcast game! There have even been FULL mods of RE2, changing so many elements that it creates a relatively new experience, such as RE2: Requiem Of Spies Regardless of the source, I wouldn't be making this up so rest assured that my discovery is factual. I don't like the idea of taking pics of a tv screen with a camera, so all pictures in this thread will be of the PC version and from the RE Modification site. Copy and pasted his file into the game, fired up the Dreamcast and got him fully playable! To test my theory that it should work for the Dreamcast I used a Barry Burton mod for RE2. The wonderful people at Resident Evil Modification have been making edits to the PC version of RE2, giving us new character mods, different sound effects and other goodies. So I looked at the files to see just how similar they were to the PC game, and what do you know. I browsed some forums and read that the RE2 for the DC was literally a straight up port of the PC version. I'm here to seek them out and maybe get the Dreamcast Biohazard mod games out there too.
